A stunning, custom-built motorcycle is the new centrepiece for our pop-up shop when we visit shows and cafes in 2024.
We wanted something with a new twist. While our core values remain the same, with the parts delivering an important message, it was time for something to grab attention in a different way.
The answer is a stunning, custom motorcycle – described by its makers as a sleek and minimal, modern classic.
It has a lot of custom features to reflect the BikerTek range. One of the tests will be to see if you can spot them all.
The bike has been built by Old Empire Motorcycles of Norfolk to show off the BikerTek range of parts. It was a unique challenge for the man behind the custom build Sam Evans. “It’s great to be a part of something that’s got real meaning behind it,” he says. “It’s definitely a first for me.”
Each of the BikerTek parts have a very specific purpose when fitted to the biker.
The challenge, Sam says, was to take something that has a certain function, retain its beauty, and then make it work as something else. All the parts must look right, but still have a working function.
“In some ways the added parts are quite clinical in appearance. I wanted these to become a natural part of the framework, so it all fits together and both looks and feels organic.”
