Better speed control

Fixing plate with alloy self-tapping screws. Designed to help throttle control, even after damage.

This part can help with throttle control, even after the wrist has been badly damaged. It fits to the biker, not the bike.

Be warned. Despite the best efforts of medics, you may not get full movement back.

We’d rather you didn’t need this part fitted at all.

Most accidents involve speeding.  So, manage your speed according to the road, weather conditions and traffic.

  • It’s easy to go over the speed limit when you’re riding.  Keep an eye on your speed and ease off when you need to.

  • Remember, there’s always a reason for the speed limit and it shows the maximum you should ride at.

  • Sometimes you need to go slower taking into account things like the weather, congestion, the type of road and the angles of corners.

.*BikerTek part price shown is 25% of the cost of the actual medical part.

About Bikertek

After an enjoyable tour of biker events and venues for our 2019 launch, we had hoped to be back on the road again this summer. Sadly, as with lots of things, Covid-19 messed up our plans so here we are showing off our product range online.

It's a fantastic range. Some amazing parts. Do take a look, though we're not actually trying to sell you anything but a message.
Bikers represent around 1% of all road users, sadly we account for 25% of serious injuries.

Riding can be great fun. But yes, it can be dangerous too.

Our National Highways stats show cornering, overtaking, speeding and fatigue are the 4 most common reasons for motorcycling accidents and serious injuries. So, attached to the parts in our online shop we have a few safe riding tips to keep you and your bike safely on the road.

And as advanced riding courses start to run again, we'll add links to info and booking at Safety for bikers - Highways England (nationalhighways.co.uk). Keep checking back for details.
