Improve Cornering

High-grade chromium universal ball joint. This part takes quite a bit of fitting, but can certainly help with balance.

Improve cornering

This part takes quite a bit of fitting, but can certainly help with balance on and off the bike.
It looks a bit like a shiny brake or clutch lever. Actually it can help with balance because it’s fitted inside the hip.

This is a part for a biker, not a bike.

It is machine cut and grafts directly to the bone. Clever stuff. The catch is that long periods of physio can be required. Best to avoid needing this part fitted really.

Best to avoid coming off on a corner.

Read the road ahead. And ride at a speed that leaves you enough time to react around a corner.

  • Get into the right position to see and be seen as early as it’s safe to do so.

  • Get the speed right. Slow down if you need to by coming off the throttle and/or braking. Use both brakes as it keeps the bike more stable.

  • Select the correct gear for your speed.

  • Look through the bend. Keep an eye out for hazards such as nearside debris or emerging vehicles.

  • Then as you exit the corner, open up the right amount of acceleration to leave the bend safely.

About Bikertek

After an enjoyable tour of biker events and venues for our 2019 launch, we had hoped to be back on the road again this summer. Sadly, as with lots of things, Covid-19 messed up our plans so here we are showing off our product range online.

It's a fantastic range. Some amazing parts. Do take a look, though we're not actually trying to sell you anything but a message.

Bikers represent around 1% of all road users, sadly we account for 25% of serious injuries.
Riding can be great fun. But yes, it can be dangerous too.

Our National Highways stats show cornering, overtaking, speeding and fatigue are the 4 most common reasons for motorcycling accidents and serious injuries. So, attached to the parts in our online shop we have a few safe riding tips to keep you and your bike safely on the road.

And as advanced riding courses start to run again, we'll add links to info and booking at Safety for bikers - Highways England (nationalhighways.co.uk). Keep checking back for details.
